Adelaide Oval Parmate

Adelaide Oval is the largest sports ground facility in Adelaide, South Australia, located in the parklands between the city centre and North Adelaide. The stadium is used both for sporting events as well as major concerts, in fact David Bowie played his first concert in the Southern Hemisphere at the Adelaide Oval in 1978! Thankfully the stadium has been substantially refurbished in the intervening years with over $500 million being spent 2011 - 2014 to replace stands and upgrade the facilities.

The Blackbutt hardwood timber flooring used in the corporate areas is a stand out feature. Naturally Bona Traffic HD was chosen to protect these beautiful floors, with Bona Traffic HD Anti-Slip being used for the staircases.

Palm Beach Residence

This gorgeous home is located in the playground of the rich and famous, the exclusive holiday destination of Palm Beach on the northern NSW coast. The floor installation shown won the ATFA residential solid floor award for 2018 and used Bona finishes throughout.

The standard grade Blackbutt floor of approx. 250 m² was coated using Bona Traffic HD silk matt, with Traffic HD Anti-Slip used on the stair treads.

All of the flooring work, installation, sanding and finishing was undertaken by Insight Flooring who are respected members of the Bona Certified Contractor program. Sandro Schiliro and his team at Insight used the latest Bona machinery, including the Bona Dust Control System, together with Bona finishes to achieve a fantastic end result.

Spencer & Rutherford Retail Boutique

Spencer & Rutherford is a boutique retailer offering a wide range of unique & inspiring handbags, wallets and accessories. The products are hand crafted and made from the most beautiful fabrics and leathers in the world. For such a design conscious brand the retail environment and interior fit-out of the stores was paramount. The timber floors are a stand out feature and Bona water-based coatings were used to create a stunning end result for the parquetry with its gold painted motif.

Tapas Bar, Adelaide

This stylish Tapas Bar in Adelaide's central bar district features beautiful dark hardwood floors with a textured exposed grain and natural low sheen finish.

Bona Dri-Fast Stain was combined with Bona Traffic Natural to achieve a unique and stunning finished effect. The floors are subject to heavy traffic and the pointy end of many a high heeled fashionable shoe. The Bona finish has withstood the barrage admirably and continues to protect the floors.
